These courses use booking systems the dashboard can't read yet, or need a login to see times. Ground conditions still update every morning.

Private clubs don't publish tee times. Use this to see which club is playing driest before you ask your member friend or set up reciprocal play. Tap a club for its drainage notes and rain.

Data
Ground conditions
Drainage scores (1–5) come from golfer reviews and course-construction write-ups. Where golfers haven't written about a course, the score comes from the USDA soil survey of the native ground (sand and gravel drain fast, clay and floodplains slowly); it can't see sand caps or drain tile added when the course was built. Ground condition combines the score with rain over the three days before and on the day itself, minus what sun and wind have dried since (evaporation from Open-Meteo), so summer rain clears faster than winter rain. An inch or more of snow shows as Snow. Frost delays are estimated from the forecast low: likely when it's 33°F or colder, lifting about an hour after it reaches 36°F. All of this is an estimate; call ahead after a big storm or a hard freeze.

To add, remove or pause a course, edit data/courses.json in the GitHub repo (open it on GitHub ↗). A course needs a name, access ("public" or "private"), lat/lon, and for tee times a platform with its params. Set "active": false to pause one. Tee times and rain update every morning at about 6:50 AM Pacific; "Check for new times now" above starts one.
